Brow Appointment Policy
All clients MUST READ the Appointment Policy and Health Clearance below before booking any service.
STUDIO POLICY
NO GUESTS - Only exceptions are translators and or if you have disabilities.
PREVIOUS WORK DONE
If you have previous work done, the service will be considered a cover up/color correction. If you have previous work done, please send clear, full face, bare brow photos via text or email. All cover up/correction appointments must be approved by Nana before booking. Failure to receive an approval before the appointment may result in forfeiting both appointment and deposit.
PRE-APPOINTMENT PREPARATION
1 Month Preparation
• No botox in the forehead area
• Discontinue retinol/vitamin a product and active skin care (ex. anti-aging, etc.)
2 Week Preparation
• Avoid facials and facial oils
1 Week Preparation
• Avoid excessive sun exposure
24 Hour Preparation
• No caffeine, alcohol or blood thinners (ex. coffee, caffeinated tea, pain killers)
• If you are oily, please exfoliate before your appointment
• Do not exercise the day of your appointment
If you drink caffeine, alcohol or blood thinners 24 hours prior to your appointment, service may be refused and subjected to a 100% service charge as a last minute cancellation.
POST-APPOINMENT AFTERCARE
• Apply a very thin layer of ointment on the brows twice a day using a q-tip starting from the 4th day until all the scabs fall off
• Do not apply make up on the brows until all the scabs fall off
• Do not itch, pick, or pull the scabs - they will fall on its own
For 7 days
• Do not get the brows wet
• No sweating or working out
• No excessive sun exposure
• After 7 days, you can get them wet, but pat dry the brows - do not rub
DEPOSIT
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit will be applied to your balance due after the procedure.
PAYMENT METHODS
Accepted payment methods for the remaining balance due at your appointment are cash, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle. Cards are also accepted with a 3% transaction fee. Payment plans not offered.
GUESTS
There are no guests or pets allowed in the studio. Exceptions only for clients who need a translator and clients with disabilities.
CANCELLATION & NO SHOW
Clients can cancel 48 hours prior to the appointment time. Cancellations less than 48 hours before the appointment time is subject to a $50 service charge. LATE
Please arrive on time to your appointment to ensure enough time for the service. Please text Nana if you will be arriving late. If you are more than 15 minutes late, it may result in a cancellation.
RESCHEDULING
You may reschedule within a 72 hour advanced notice of your original appointment time. A reschedule and deposit transfer to your new appointment is allowed only once. Not meeting these requirements will be considered a cancellation and your deposit will be forfeited. Please text or email to reschedule.
Health Clearance
Each client must clear all the qualifications below before booking an appointment.
• Must not be under the age of 18
• Must not be pregnant, breastfeeding or nursing
• Must not have received botox or injectable facial fillers within the last month (lip fillers are an exception)
• Must not be allergic to pigmentation and make up
• Must not be allergic to topical numbing agents, such as, but not limited to lidocaine, prilocaine, or epinephrine
• Must not be currently using Accutane or other steroids within the past year
• Must not have experienced post inflammatory hyper pigmentation
• Must not have hemophilia and/or healing disorders
• Must not be suffering from keloid and hypertrophic scarring on the facial area
• Must not be taking any immune-suppressing medication
• Must not have skin diseases such as skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, and undiagnosed aches or blisters
• Must not have high blood pressure, heart conditions, glaucoma, or mitral valve disorder
• Must not have diabetes and/or under doctor care
• Must not be epileptic who has experienced faint spell or seizure
• Must not be using blood thinning prescriptions
• Must not have seborrheic dermatitis
• Must not be under or scheduled for radiotherapy or chemotherapy treatment
• Must not have any transmittable blood related conditions such as Hepatitis, HIV/AIDS
The policies are made to help you have the best experience possible. If you have a concerning medical condition, please contact your doctor/physician and receive clearance prior to the appointment.
If you do not clear all the qualifications above, please do not book an appointment. If you attend the appointment with any of the contraindications, the service will be subject to a cancellation forfeiting your deposit and a 100% service charge.
